Gabrielle Droulers

Gabrielle Droulers

Gabrielle Droulers is the Director of the Centre For Career Development. She has a Masters degree in Human Resources and Organisational Career Development and a Bachelors degree in Communications. She has over 20 years of Australian and US corporate consulting and training experience in training design and delivery, 360 degree feedback, competency modelling, facilitation, executive coaching, leadership development, career development, performance consulting, team building, and career transition.

Her customised programs target key people within organisations such as executive management, supervisors, first-line personnel, and all levels of staff to increase productivity, build skills, and help organisations manage change.

After starting and managing a San Francisco-based technical consulting firm for 10 years, Gabrielle expanded the firm to provide consulting to Fortune 500 companies in the area of employee selection and retention, career development, and management development and designed and delivered executive coaching programs to senior and mid-level managers.

She has a wealth of knowledge about group, individual, and organisational behaviour. Her vision is to empower people "to be the best" at what they do and help organisations create a high performance work culture by helping them coach their people to discover and build on their potential. Her highly personalised approach focuses on helping executives understand their leadership strengths and weaknesses within the context of the business challenges they face.

Gabrielle is a member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian Human Resources Institute, and the American Society for Training and Development. She has also lectured at the University of Sydney.

Dennis is a Human Resources consultant and facilitator with broad experience in HR Development, coaching, training, and group facilitation. He has conducted a variety of management development programs throughout Australia and South East Asia. Prior to this Dennis worked for 10 years in line management roles with General Electric in Australia.

Lisa Knight is a Human Resources professional, formerly Human Resources Manager and Organisational Development Consultant with the Prudential Corporation.

She brings 14 years experience in the management of various strategic HR projects including recruitment, performance management, coaching, team development, and business planning. She has worked across a broad range of industry sectors including IT, government, telecommunications, retail, and financial services.

She is an energetic and creative facilitator who inspires individuals to enhance performance and achieve success.

Lisa is a member of the Australian Human Resource Institute and Australian Institute of Management.

Michael Longhurst

Michael Longhurst

Michael Longhurst is a consulting psychologist experienced across a wide range of organisational functions. His expertise includes sales management, staff selection, managing learning/development units, training needs analysis, recruitment and career transition, and staff/client seminar construction and delivery. He is an experienced facilitator of team-building and development programs based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.

Michael is one of Australia's leading experts in the area of adjustment to retirement and has run numerous seminars for those who have either retired or are considering retirement. In July 2000, Hodder-Headline Australia released Michael's book "The Beginner's Guide to Retirement" which is based on his psychological research with 200 Australian retirees. The research examined why some retirees thrive in retirement while others become depressed or anxious. The book was released in the UK in 2001.

Michael has sat on numerous committees of large commercial organisations and government regulatory bodies such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), the Investments and Financial Services Association (IFSA), and the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Alan has extensive research, training and facilitation experience. He has designed and delivered professional seminars on business communication, corporate relations, customer service, sales, team building, and management and leadership development.

Since 1992, he has created and updated subjects and taught research techniques, communication, presentation skills, and strategic planning as a course coordinator, lecturer, and tutor at RMIT University, Monash University, and Victoria University to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Alan has been in great demand in his roles as researcher, consultant, adjudicator, writer, and question verifier for Channel Seven's The Weakest Link, Quizmaster, The Chair, Deal or No Deal, and Channel Nine's top-ranked Who Wants to be a Millionaire. As program leader for the Australian Institute of Management, he has conducted numerous public and in-house programs.

Her background includes diagnostics, design, and implementation of interventions in organisational development and human resources management, change management strategies, and change facilitation.

Katrina's extensive experience has been developed at St.George Bank and the NRMA where she enjoyed contributing to the effectiveness of the human resource functions with her strong recruiting skills and flair in the design of appropriate learning and development programs. Katrina has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sydney University, where she majored in English, History, and Psychology.

She has successfully delivered services across a wide range of industries and has worked with many large organisations including BHP, Ericsson, Coles Myer, ANZ and NAB.

Over the past 11 years she has had extensive experience as a workshop facilitator and has delivered many training programs in the areas of leadership development, team building, management skills, communication and change management.

Anita is a registered psychologist and accredited in the use of a variety of developmental tools including the MBTIŽ (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and the TMI (Team Management Index).

Catherine Twiss

Catherine is an experienced consultant with a diverse background encompassing coaching, performance management, change management, career management and transition. She has worked across a wide variety of industries including banking & finance, local government, telecommunications and manufacturing.

An experienced trainer, Catherine has been involved in the development and facilitation of a broad range of programs including targeted selection, change, communication, career management and active retirement.

Currently registered as a Provisional Psychologist, Catherine is working towards full registration by doing a Masters in Organisational Psychology.

Catherine is an Associate of the Australian Psychological Society, and Professional Member of the Australian Association of Career Counsellors.

Jim Wilson works as a management consultant in strategy, marketing, and management development for corporate and public sector clients. He also has substantial experience with designing and implementing organisational development interventions that are typically built around the principles of customer-focused, quality management.

Jim is an experienced workshop facilitator and delivers training programs in the areas of thinking preferences, communications (verbal and written), business simulations, and commercial management. He has been facilitating Think On Your Feet® programs for 10 years with a wide variety of audiences - management, sales staff, engineers, administrators, and technicians.

He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Quality Society of Australasia.

Jean Woo

An experienced facilitator of programs in written, spoken, and visual communication, Jean has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Optus, Sigma Pharmaceuticals, Sun Microsystems, NSW Railway Employees Fund and medium to large legal and accounting firms.

She has 17 years experience in writing, editing and advising on the presentation of business communication across a wide range of print and electronic media. She works with clients to develop written communication that is clear, consistent and sympathetic to their corporate branding.

Jean is also principal author of Executive Style: Dress Essentials for Men and Women (Prentice Hall), and is currently co-writing Dress for Effect. She has worked in fashion, commercial law, legal publishing and professional services marketing. She has served as a mentor on the Women in Finance Mentoring Program (2004 and 2005).
