Team Development
Changing groups of individuals into teams follows a process that
involves understanding what makes an effective team and assessing
where your team currently is in terms of their development.
Our process
involves:
- Giving individual and team feedback to your team members.
- Matching individual team roles with available talents.
- Ensuring team members understand and learn to manage personality differences that might affect team performance.
- Assisting your teams to develop a common understanding of the team’s goals and objectives.
- Assisting newly formed teams to identify critical success factors, gaps in
current skills and actionable plans to achieve success.
We use the High Performance Team Index™ (HPTI) , an online assessment tool
designed to help your team leaders analyse the operational effectiveness of their
teams and also help the teams realise their fullest potential and evolve to high
performing team status. The HPTI addresses the following questions:
- How clear are your team goals and do they have the commitment of
both members and external stakeholders?
- Are team relationships authentic and open?
- Are team protocols taken seriously so that they ensure an effective operation?
- How consistent is team leadership and is it appropriate to the task?
- Do team roles match up well with individual talents and needs within the group?
- How often is team productivity evaluated?
