Team Building Using the Everything DiSC® WorkplaceTM Profile or Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®)
Managers and Staff will learn how to apply the Everything DiSC® Workplace™ Profile and/or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) psychometric assessments to teamwork, and to know which behaviours are most likely to contribute to team success. Managers and Staff will also learn how to:
- Capitalise on team member strengths
- Improve communication
- Better handle team conflict
- Gain an appreciation of individual differences
- Increase individual and team awareness
- Improve productivity
- Gain greater alignment around team and organisational objectives
Course Outline:
- Overview of the Everything DiSC® Workplace™ Profile and/or Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), and it’s application/s
- Introduction to and understanding of your individual type using the Everything DiSC® Workplace™ Profile and/or MBTI® Step II report
- Characteristics associated with each type and/or styles
- Understand how others might see you
- Manage type and/or behavioural imbalances within the team
- Understanding preferred methods of communication by type and/or behavioural style/s
- Explore individual contribution based on type and/or behavioural style/s
- Use type and behavioural style/s for effective problem solving
- Handle conflict productively
This team building training course is supported with:
- an on-line DiSC® or MBTI® questionnaire that takes about 25 minutes to complete prior to the workshop
- an individual report
- handouts
